A crazy golf course without obstacles is like having a table tennis table without a net. Well, you know what I mean! So our crisp, emerald green mobile crazy golf course together with a bunch of unique and outlandish obstacles is always a sure fire winner for any occasion.
When asked to provide a course for the Social Athletics Club to use over 3 different McDonald’s Global Reward & Recognition events during the London Olympics, we knew this option would be perfect. Our ‘Emerald Course’ incorporates all the classic features such as twists, turns and doglegs with firm, reliable borders.
Threading the ball under a pair of stilettos, swerving around a windmill, rebounding off the horseshoe and aiming through a TV screen were just some of the ways the players had to manoeuvre around our challenging course to achieve a low score. One player really got the rub of the green when he launched his ball over our ramp which then ricocheted off the far border flew into the air and then landed plum in the cup! To his credit he did acknowledge his good fortune.
The pièce de résistance was a life-size model of Tiger Woods who stood there watching over the minigolfing action throughout. Perhaps he was thinking to himself “this course would be great for me to practise my putting skills on”.
