If you love cars and golf…

Did you know that Volkswagen Group owns Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Seat and Škoda? We didn’t. Neither did we know just how much Volkswagen value their staff. Last weekend was their annual family day and the entertainment highlights were: cars (the best in the world) on display; radio controlled car racing; F1 simulators; an artist (Ian Cook) who creates unique artworks; and of course our ‘Emerald’ minigolf course with some wacky obstacles to boot (no pun intended).

When planning for this event, we weren’t sure who was more likely to turn up… Jeremy Clarkson or Tiger Woods. As it happens our life size Tiger Woods cut-out had a prior engagement at another booking and Jeremy Clarkson wasn’t invited for fear of him trying to blow up their Škoda Octavia vRS. With a speed of 227 mph it holds the world record for the fastest 2.0-litre supercharged production car ever made.

With windmills and putt-through TV’s luring in the masses, our minigolf course was crazy busy all day. The only time the kids were distracted from playing was when Punch & Judy show started; the adults only took a break for the engine revving sessions. They had a Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche Carrera and Audi R8 generating noises that would set any car enthusiast’s heart racing (pun definitely intended)!

If you like the idea of portable minigolf and crazy golf courses for your next company event, steer yourself in the direction of our portable courses page for the different options, or contact us for more information and prices.
