An artist’s impression

Last Saturday I spotted this story on the BBC website about a photo taken on New Year’s Eve in Manchester, which developed into an internet meme. As you scroll down the article you will notice a tweet from @mjlovatt_LFC in which he used the specialist app, SuperPhoto, to recreate the image with a paint effect.

So I decided to use the same app and another that I recently discovered – RollWorld – to reimagine some of our own favourite photos that we’ve taken over the past few years. Here are the hypnotic results…
