The brand new 12-hole permanent miniature golf course at Wellington Country Park in Hampshire was officially launched by the Great Britain Minigolf Team last month. It really was a proud moment indeed to see team captain, James Rutherford, cut the ribbon and declare the course “open”!

As the sun beat down on Regent’s Place last Thursday and Friday, the plaza was transformed into a golf fest for the masses. For two days only anyone could come and play for free on our portable 9-hole ‘Signature Golf Course’, soak in the rays on the temporary deck chairs and enjoy the Open Championship

Over 3 days in August last year, 6 British minigolfers competed at the elite 2012 European Minigolf Championships in Portugal, sponsored by us here at UrbanCrazy. Those players were British Team captain Marc Chapman, seasoned UK tour pro Tony Kelly, twice Kent Open winner Seth Thomas, Cambridgeshire Club captain James Rutherford, the team’s youngest player Freddie Blackburn-Shaw and 2009 London Open champion Adam Kelly.

Our brand-new, spectacular ‘Signature Course’ is now available for event hire. Conceived and created by UrbanCrazy’s Jon, Dave and Kate this year, the course comprises interestingly themed holes, including: ‘DreamGolf’; ‘Hazardous’; ‘BrownSign’, ‘Studded’; ‘CrazyCow’ and ‘Target’. To pinch an old Carlsberg slogan, we reckon it’s probably the best portable crazy golf course in the world!
