It was a huge thrill to be back at the London Golf Show for the sixth time entertaining visitors with our minigolf and ping pong activities. Alongside the course and tables we had a separate stand with special offers on a bright selection of themed and novelty golf balls. The show was a success for us with many rounds and games played, Christmas pressies sold and funds and awareness raised for our partner charity, On Course Foundation. It’s a very worthy cause, please take a look at their website. Read more
In 2010 we designed and installed a minigolf course in a rear garden in North London. We look back on this project with fond memories of what we created, with highlights including a double green, a fiendish water hazard and – our favourite one of all – a Rube Goldberg-esque contraption where the ball travels in and out of the shed!

Did you know that Volkswagen Group owns Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Seat and Škoda? We didn’t. Neither did we know just how much Volkswagen value their staff. Last weekend was their annual family day and the entertainment highlights were: cars (the best in the world) on display; radio controlled car racing; F1 simulators; an artist (Ian Cook) who creates unique artworks; and of course our ‘Emerald’ minigolf course with some wacky obstacles to boot (no pun intended).
Well, what a feast of entertainment we enjoyed on Saturday 7 July. The Crazy Golf Pro Championships on Selfridges rooftop was undoubtedly one of the most eccentric and enthralling events we have ever taken part in. Organised by Bompas & Parr and us here at UrbanCrazy, a field of 30 players made up of BMGA minigolf legends and wildcards competed to become the champion of this quirky minigolf tournament. And in a drive to boost tourism, the administration for one such seaside town, Sandown on the Isle Of Wight, commissioned UrbanCrazy to regenerate their crazy golf course – a course that has been in existence for close to half a century!
