Future crazy golf superstars

Wed, 21 Mar 2012  |  Richard Linden, UrbanCrazy

It won’t come as a surprise to anyone that portable crazy golf is an excellent way to keep children of all ages entertained. UrbanCrazy was booked to provide one of the main sources of entertainment for the annual Easter Party at the Chelsea Design Centre – famous for also hosting London Design Week 2012.

Within minutes of the party starting, the kids ran to all four corners of the room to explore the activities that had been brought in for them. There was a pen with bunny rabbits and one-day old chicks, a party entertainer, lots of scrumptious food and drinks, an Easter Egg Hunt and of course, UrbanCrazy’s “Designer” crazy golf course.

Our stand was teeming with kids for the entire duration of the party, fascinated as they were by the colourful course with its bright, unusual surfaces and obstacles. For photos of the event, please click on the image (right) to open a gallery.

Children say the funniest things, don’t they?! One particular young lady was so determined to get a hole in one that she counted 18 attempts (out loud I might add) before she sunk the ball in the hole. Mind you, to her defence, she did have to contend with some rather unobservant toddlers walking across the course whilst playing her shots. Another enthusiastic youngster said to his fellow counterpart that he wanted to come back once everyone else had gone home and play on his own, with no interruptions!

UrbanCrazy, since its inception 10 years ago, has entertained guests at parties, weddings, corporate events, exhibitions, schools and all sorts of other functions. We have seen people from ages 1 to 91 swing a club and sink the ball! For more information on our exclusive courses to hire for your special event, whatever it may be, do take a look at our portable courses page to learn about all the options.
